Selected Publications
Three Line Poetry
This small journal offered by Prolific Press publishes poems three lines long, but not necessarily haiku. Each line should be no more than 40 characters in length and “have its own meaning” (can stand alone). I have a poem in issue #58. You can read the issues online by going to their website here and clicking “Free Online Issues.” I have poems in issues #45, 53, and 54 as well as 58. |
Poetry Quarterly
This journal publishes poetry only, selected from submissions received. I have a poem in the Summer 2021 issue (no. 46). You can view issues online with a subscription of $20 per year, and you can buy individual issues through Prolific Press (click here). This press publishes several other poetry journals such as Haiku Journal and Tanka Journal. I've had many poems published in Poetry Quarterly, dating back to Spring of 2017 (no. 29). |
The Wayfarer
“By our definition, a wayfarer is one whose inner-compass is ever-oriented to truth, wisdom, healing, and beauty in their own wandering.” The Wayfarer publishes twice a year and includes thoughtful essays, interviews, poetry, and columns on topics such as mindful cooking, contemplative practice, nature, and more. You can read more about The Wayfarer here. I had the good fortune to have poetry included in The Wayfarer’s Spring 2018 issue, the Standing Rock issue. Their umbrella organization, Homebound Publications, has back issues available. Click here to learn what’s included in the Standing Rock issue. And while you’re there, see what else they have on offer. |
